A Case Study - Collaboration Between Law Enforcement, School Division, and Community Resources

“A truant high school student, who is referred to an Interdisciplinary Team, is identified as a concern for self-harm. During the mental health risk assessment, the student shares ideations of becoming a school shooter with the evaluator. An elaborate behavioral threat assessment process begins to identify concerns and investigate the case. This debrief will outline the collaboration between law enforcement, school division, and community resources to consider and manage the case. During this discussion you will hear from law enforcement, school personnel, and the clinical psychologist who evaluated the student.”
